So What? I'm An Asthmatic!


OK. I'll admit it. I'm a wheezer (well, asthmatic anyway).

I'm currently going short of breath about every couple of hours between 'puffs' of my inhaler. The last thing in the world I couldn't go without are my prized collection of Ventolin inhalers. One upstairs, one downstairs, one in Lesley's handbag. At the moment, I RELY on them to get me through the day. I know that I won't achieve my target (to stop wheezing) without the necessary tool (my inhaler) and the plans to back it up (one strategically placed wherever I might suddenly need it.)

What's stopping you from reaching your target? Is it because you don't have a target in the first place? You'd be surprised at how many people wander around complaining that they want more out of life - yet don't even know what 'more' is.

If you know what you want - do you have the correct tools to do the job? Are you learning more about what you need top do to get to where you want to go? Do you spend the money necessary to get the best 'education' of the subject that you can find? Yet again - how many people shy away from spending $30 on a book that could change their lives if they applied what is written in it?

Do you have the plans to back all this up? Are you setting aside a specific period of time each day, or every week, to follow through on what needs to be done? Are you making sure that you are putting the required effort into your success 'project'. This is the crucial aspect that a lot of almost successful people miss. They try to find the shortest, and easiest route to something when the longest, and hardest route is usually the most beneficial in the long run.

Don't be like an asthmatic without an inhaler. Don't get short of breath before it's too late.
