It's true when they say


It's true when they say that your 'universe' expands only when you do.

If you had asked me five years ago (six months before Connor's birth) that I would have quit my job of then 11 years, started a new one, quit that, started my own business (this), written two ebooks, learned from scratch enough to make me qualified as a nurse - and become more positive than I ever have been before - I would have laughed at you!

Add to that writing 300+ words every single day - then I would have never believed it unless I was actually doing it!

It's amazing how much you can evolve and grow when you really want (or have) to.

I can honestly say that, if Connor hadn't been born with all of his problems - then I probably would have still been at the same bank - and still be a manager who was never quite contented with his 'lot'.

That's why, when I see (and read of) so many people complaining that they haven't got this, or can't do that, it saddens me.

It saddens me because they don't see what (almost unlimited) potential they have to make more of their lives!

Are you one of those people?

Do you look for the down instead of the up...or the fall after the victory?

Shake yourself out of it! You can do whatever YOU want to do. You can be whoever YOU want to be.

You just have to want it badly enough to make the effort to change what you have been doing so far.

It's certainly not easy - but it is certainly rewarding!

Take a look at where you are today - can you be more than you are - can you do more than you are - can you push yourself harder than you are?

If the answer is yes - then you'd better start trying to find a way to change - otherwise you'll always be who you have always been.

Take it from me - it does work...but only if you try hard and long enough at it!
